How we got together

At a cozy little Cajun Restaurant in St. Georges, Delaware a former Merchant Marine - Captain Joe Michini- now Restauranteur- had a vision: Serve the best Cajun food, an amazing assortment of beers, wines, bourbons and live music.

That vision now outlives Captain Joe as he has left us with the honor of fulfilling his dream after his passing.

Howard “Big Izzy” Isenberg and Jerry DiAngelo began playing together at an acoustic jam session that Captain Joe arranged for Jerry DiAngelo to host in his St. Georges Cafe and Country Store. After that first session it was obvious that there was a musical connection that defied time. The Dew Bye Drifters were born out these jam sessions as an acoustic duo offering covers of music across the ages, as well as original tunes.
