Howard “Big Izzy” Isenberg is a self-taught guitarist that has been playing now for over 40+ years. Somehow the mysteries locked away inside the guitar has intrigued Big Izzy toward continual exploration and discovery. He has applied the same process of inquiry toward mandolin, banjo, bass, ukelele, piano and native american flute.

Big Izzy performs with several local groups including Gang of Two, Kona Shame, The Old Crispy Minstrels and The Dew Bye Drifters.

His interest in almost all genres of music throughout the ages has led to playing acoustic and electric music solo and with his bandmates at a wide range of venues in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
